I bought this to record my guitar playing, vocals, and what not I enter garageband load up the correct and new drivers and everything is working except the sound. What I mean is I see my signal on the computer moving when I play but get no sound. I notice the recording level meter is set at zero and grayed out. I figure it must be something wrong the unit. I get my money back and get this I do everything it tells me and it loads up the drivers itself and I get the same exact results. I come to here to ask what the possible problem could be.

I have windows boot camped on here and have tried recording on there as well with no avail. Could the usb not be able to record this or what? Help is appreciated and forwarding me to some where that may help is great too.

Hi, I've updated my Mac Pro and My Mac book Pro to 10.6.5, and now none of them is able to use my external USB Yamaha Audiogram 6 sound card. I see the USB device as USB audio Codec in the System Informations, but I can't see it in the Sound System Preferences and so I can not use it as an input or output. It was working fine with 10.6.4. I tried to install the Yamaha driver again, permission disk repair, but it's still the same on my 2 computers.

All the other USB devices ( Wacom Mouse, Logitech Webcam, WD Hard Drive ) are working fine with 10.6.5. Does somebody else have a similar issue or an idea to solve this problem?
